ABOUT ISCV

The International Schubert Competition Vienna 2025, culminating in a Gala Concert at the renowned Musikverein in Vienna, is designed to make prestigious international music competitions more accessible by eliminating travel expenses, living costs, and visa issues. This is achieved through an entirely online application and adjudication process. While not intended to replace live music performances, this competition aims to enhance awareness of classical music and performance globally through this convenient international platform.

Open to musicians worldwide and focused on classical music, the International Schubert Competition seeks to promote musical culture, fostering world peace and mutual understanding among nations. The competition encompasses various classical music disciplines: piano, keyboards, strings, wind instruments, percussion, voice, piano duo, and chamber music. Each discipline is divided into distinct age categories, and there is no age limit for participants.

Our competition upholds a high artistic standard and places a strong emphasis on education. Our official website, social media channels, and YouTube presence offer public access to educational resources. Performance videos submitted by participants will substitute traditional live concerts to showcase their talents to the world.

Supporting the development of our artists is central to the competition’s mission. We aim not only to discover the finest young musicians globally but also to nurture and cultivate their talents, preparing them for the rapidly evolving world.

The deadline for free registration is March 17, 2025.
